My background

I have over 30 years of experience in the world of work as a manager, a leader, a consultant, coach and mentor. I am more convinced than ever that it is people who make organisations thrive – when you unlock their potential, everything else follows. I am known for building strong, collaborative relationships and making complex ideas easy to understand; being results oriented but values driven; being passionate about customer success and enabling people to maximise their potential.

Something real about me

Born and raised just outside Newcastle in the North East of England, to where I have recently returned after decades of living and working in many different locations and countries. I am a proud Geordie but support Ireland at Rugby. I love food but am definitely not a domestic goddess (friends volunteer to cook when they come to my house!). I strongly believe that dancing makes everything better.

Super powers

My superpower is curiosity. I ask the questions that matter and I listen, not just to what is said, but to what is meant. I bring grounded, real-world experience in making change happen and making it stick. I combine empathy with challenge, always with the aim of helping people be better and move beyond simply managing tasks to stepping into true leadership. Development, for me, is purposeful, it’s about linking personal growth to the outcomes that matter for the organisation and the individual.
